This aerial view shows what is known about Senwosret Ist’s pyramid temple,
enclosure walls, and adjacent structures, with the northern side of the pyramid
temple cut away to reveal its internal structure. With the exception of the
height of the pyramid temple walls, which follows the hypothetical solution
presented by Dieter Arnold in The Pyramid of Senwosret I, this reconstruction
is based on certain evidence uncovered in the excavations.
The small figure in the center of the pyramid temple court shows the scale of
an average person relative to this enormous structure.
